One of the underlying themes of E.N.’s “Perpetuum Mobile“ is air. I decided to do some more musical research in that field: Inspired by tracks like “Boreas“, “Summerly Installation“, “Paradiesseits“, “Säuseln“ and “Perpetuum Mobile“ and the making of the “Aircake“ the AIRSHOW is a continuation and supplement of that period. The utilization of PVC-tubing on “Youme & Meyou“ / “Compressors In The Dark“ and the aircompressors gave me the idea to operate with more items like ventilators, balloons, propellers, blow torch and so on, for a performance based on the element air. Editing all the videomaterial of the webcast-live-performance was a long process, a specific language of pictures was achieved, the sound got completely reworked. Musically, you can find these 12 ambiences somewhere between a noisy dream an a contemplative soundtrack...

Luft ist einer der themengebenden Aspekte der „Perpetuum Mobile“ und ich entschied mich für weitere musikalische Forschung in diesem Bereich: inspiriert durch Musikstücke wie „Boreas“, „Summerly Installation“, „Paradiesseits“, „Säuseln“ und „Perpetuum Mobile“ sowie die Realisation des „Aircake“ erscheint nun die AIRSHOW als Ergänzung und Fortsetzung dieser Phase. Der Einsatz von PVC-Rohren auf „Youme & Meyou“ / “Compressors In The Dark“ und die Luftkompressoren brachten mich auf die Idee, weitere ‚Instrumente’ wie Ventilatoren, Ballons, Propeller, Lötlampe etc. in einer Performance auszuprobieren. Um eine spezifische Bildsprache zu entwickeln, erfolgte der Schnitt des Videomaterials in einem längeren Prozess; der Ton wurde komplett überarbeitet. Musikalisch befinden sich die 12 Episoden irgendwo zwischen einem krachigen Traum und (un)ruhigem Ambientsound...
