Full length DVD of concert performance at the Palast der Republik in Berlin on November 4th, 2004 (the public concert) featuring choir of 100 supporters. For complete information including trailer please see announcement page. The DVD is region free and has both PAL and NTSC versions on the same disc (different sides), so it should play anywhere in the world.

The concert performance on this DVD was filmed at the Palast der Republik in Berlin, the former Parliament building and symbol of the no longer extant DDR (East Germany). The Palast der Republik has since been torn down in order to make space fort he re-erection of the City Palace.

The Neubauten found the steel skeleton of the ruins of the Palast a congenial location for their architecural-musical fantasies and field studies. Accompanied by a 100 member choir, recruited from the supporters of the www.neubauten.org Internet project, they played in and with the building in their inimitable, almost literally building-collapsing fashion.

Die hier vorliegende DVD zeigt einen Konzertmitschnitt aus dem Berliner Palast der Republik: Jenem Symbol fuer die untergegangene DDR, das man abgerissen hat, um einem Nachbau des alten Stadtschlosses Platz zu machen.

Die Neubauten fanden im Stahlskelett der Palast Ruine einen kongenialen Ort fuer ihre architektonisch-musikalischen Fantasien und Feldstudien. Begleitet von einem 100 koepfigen Chor, rekrutiert aus Unterstuetzern des neubauten.org Internet Projektes, bespielen sie den Ort auf ihre unnachahmliche, beinahe woertlich zu nehmende Weise.
